Install NetMotion Client on MacOS
Installation and configuration of the NetMotion Mobility client on MacOS
Prerequisites
username and password issued by T|Forge
DNS name of the NetMotion Mobility server
If you are a T|Forge NetMotion Access customer then the DNS name will be access.tforge.net
T|Forge NetMotion Premium or Premium On-Premise customers will be issued a unique customer-specific DNS name from T|Forge.
Reseller based customers will need to get the server DNS address from their provider.
Instructions
The first step is to download the Mobility client from the Apps Store by searching for “mobility” as shown below or by navigating to the following link - NetMotion Mobility. Click on the download button circled in red to start the download and install
Once the installation has been completed, open the application and accept the notification that will pop up in the right-hand corner of your screen by selecting “Allow”
Once the application was installed, you will notice a new icon in the taskbar at the top of your Mac screen. Click on it to show the configuration option
Next you will click on the gear icon, then click “Configurations” to start the configuration of the application. Next please input the NetMotion Mobility server’s DNS name as per below. The Description can be anything you like but for the sake of this guide, we called it “ForgeNet”. The Server has to be set to the DNS name you were given or access.tforge.net for T|Forge NetMotion Access customers so be sure to enter it correctly.
Once you have completed the above configuration, close the current screen. Click on the Mobility icon in the taskbar again, and then click connect. This will then prompt for your username and password. Remember to leave the domain field blank. Click OK.
You should now be connected as per the below image
