Configure APN SIM on an Android Device

In order for your device to connect successfully to T|Forge’s APN solution on an Android device, you are required to change the APN profile information on the device.

Wherever we refer to the <APN_DOMAIN> in this guide use nerospec.com

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Settings on your Android device.

  2. In Settings, select Connections

     

  3. In Connections, select Mobile Networks

     

  4. In Mobile Networks, select Access Point Names

     

  5. In Access Point Names, use the Add button

     

  6. In Edit Access Point, we are going to Configure the APN:

    1. In the Name section enter in a Profile Name. We called ours TForge but it can be anything.

    2. Under APN section enter the <APN_DOMAIN> as your APN Address.

    3. To confirm the creation click on the back button.

  7. Finally to Activate the new APN Profile, select TForge (or whatever you named the APN profile you just created).

     

  8. You have successfully set up the device to connect to your T|Forge APN!
